VP Fund Operations
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Founded in 2020, Simplify Asset Management is an ETF provider focused on providing financial advisors innovative and sophisticated derivative-based portfolios designed to meet the needs of their clients in an increasingly challenging market environment. With over $2 billion AUM over 20 ETFs, Simplify is looking for a self-driven and results-oriented individual to join our trading and operations team.
What you’ll do:
-
Create and maintain ad-hoc reporting tools to support the portfolio management team
-
Perform trade, cash and portfolio reconciliations and ensure timely trade settlement
-
Provide portfolio cash projections to portfolio managers
-
Manage margin and collateral across portfolios
-
Manage additional projects as needed to support firm growth

Conduct new fund launch testing internally and with vendors

What you have:

Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related quantitative field; Graduate degree, CAIA, CFA, CPA, a plus

10+ years of relevant work experience

Advanced skills in Excel, Python or other programming languages are a plus

Solid handle on portfolio theory and understanding of risk measures, i.e., Option Greeks
-
Excellent communication verbal and written communication skills
-
Project management experience, PMP certification a plus

Trading and Operations Associate

Assist in sizing and staging trades in asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives

Perform trade and portfolio reconciliations and ensure timely trade settlement

Support margin and collateral reporting

Provide end of day cash reporting and communicate opening cash to the trading team

Internal Sales Account Associate
Simplify Asset Management is a newly established ETF issuer and RIA created by a group of accomplished asset management veterans. Our goal is to help advisors tackle the most pressing portfolio challenges with an innovative set of options-based strategies. By accounting for real-world investor needs and market behavior, along with the non-linear power of options, our strategies allow for the tailored portfolio outcomes clients are looking for.
We are looking to hire an Internal Sales Account Manager. The role will focus on developing relationships with RIA and financial advisory firms across the US. We can be flexible on location but have a strong preference for NYC metro based. We are building out our sales team with a smart, motivated, and interesting individuals, who are excited to build something unique, learn a lot, and have fun in the process.
Responsibilities:

Work closely with senior sales team members to drive sales of Simplify’s ETFs within the financial advisory community.

Proactively reach out to advisors via phone and email to engage, assess, and offer solutions
-
Establish and execute consistent follow up strategy with clients to advance the sales process and deepen advisor relationships.

Establish a high level of consistent, quantifiable client outreach and engagement.
Skills and Qualifications:

Strong overall sales acumen and consultative business development skills.

Strong understanding of the ETF market and why ETFs will continue to take market share and disrupt the asset management industry.

Existing relationships within the RIA and financial advisor community are a plus.

Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or industry designations CAIA, CFA are a plus).
